Dreams of white princes and dashing through a snow filled forest trail on every choreographed note that tumbles from LAREINE's mini album, Winter Romantic.  You wonder if the album title came before the music, because they match like soul mates.
All the songs stumble along like a melancholy poet searching for a muse and frequently wander from rock ballad  to pop ballad.  Coming from any other artist, this fluffy music would be pure cheese, but LAREINE's long history of sappy romanticism saves them from seeming insincere.
If there were to be a king of songs on this album, I would dub thee "kyokutou no koibito."  The elegant pairing of classical music and rock feels like a story of desperate love and high drama with a climatic ending.
