Rentrer en soi - Anime Next 2008 (NJ)

Melodic metal and visual flare rolled over New Jersey's Anime Next convention on June 20, 2008.  The power house quintet of Rentrer en soi consists of:

Satsuki - Vocals
Takumi - Guitar
Shun - Guitar
Ryo - Bass
Mika - Drums

My memory fails me on the exact songs, but I heard a few tunes from older albums. 

The name, Rentrer en soi, is mangled French.  But the band chose the name for it's meaning of introspection.  It translates into their music and each album is a distinct looking glass reflecting the bands current line up and focus.

ReS loved NJ, because they came out for multiple encores that pushed the concert well past it's original end time.  It must've been fate that they finished the show to the applause of a thundering lightening storm.

The crowd at Anime Next loved ReS back.  A dozen security guards braced themselves against the barricades to keep the crowd from rushing forward for the encores.
