Otakon 2008 Daizy Stripper, Marbell & The Underneath Music at Japanese anime conventions is becoming more and more prolific. Otakon, a trendsetter in the convention world, didn't disappoint this year. Three Japanese visual bands flew in to play Otakon's Sunday concert at the Baltimore convention center, bringing in flocks of jrock fans and curious anime otaku. |

Daizy Stripper is fairly new to the visual
kei scene in Japan. Formed in early 2007, they had a big break when
they were invited to play at the hide memorial summit.

MarBell is an actual band, though it's
hard to tell since most of the focus is on their vocalist, Mar. And
how could you not focus on this busty gothic beauty? Decked out in
h.naoto, Mar easily entrances with her quirky stage presence.
